i have been pretty nostalgic today and decided to write a poem about it to try to capture what the memories of my childhood feels like and the nostalgia. :) i wrote it in like 20 mins so it might not be amazing lol ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- Sun Through the Leaves Yellow boots, Sidewalk in the rain. Bright sunshine Butterfly nets. Birdsong, Walk down green streets. Quiet drizzle Tree as an umbrella. Soft tinted shine Through blanket tent. Luscious green, Grass blades in summer. Long shadows Pavement in the sunset. Azure sky, Laying in the grass. Golden leaf pile, A crackling blanket. Vivid swirl, Fabric and light. A blur of vivid life, Innocent bliss.
