Chapter 1-The Bracelet Harper walked across the archery range, following the pull she felt. There, laying in the grass, was a bracelet, shining as the sun's rays hit each and every gem. It was covered in gems and crystals, so many that Harper couldn't identify them all. She picked it up and held it, as if trying to decide if it was dangerous or not. She then slipped it around her wrist, and felt a light pull of the bracelet. It had locked around her arm, securing itself. 'Wow.' she thought, still staring at the bracelet, twisting her arm around to see the different colors shine. She took it off and felt the urge to throw it. She threw it up, and it transformed into a Celestial bronze dagger with a brown leather handle and a golden blade. 'Wow. This is amazing.' she thought. She then noticed something engraved into the blade. Letters. They said something, Harper just couldn't figure out what. She tilted the dagger, making the blade face upward, and she could see the lettering perfectly. "Darkness can light can shine together, chasing the dawn and dusk." she read the words out loud to herself. "Wow, dad. Sounds poetic. Not surprised." she laughed. "Wait, the bracelet has a name?" she asked herself, staring at the handle. In golden stitching, the handle read, Dawnbreaker. "So that's your name. Huh." Harper shrugged, throwing the dagger into the air again. "That's cool. I love this already." she couldn't help but smile at the fact that she had received a gift from her dad.
