kaji terushima ‘karma’ ( art soon trust ) - age: 16 - birthday: december 30 - height: 6’2” - hobbies: basketball, sleeping - theme song: first rate town - good kid - song i was listening to on loop while coming up with ideas for him: eastside (good kid not whatever the other one is) - random fact: he likes owls - ethnicity: 50% japanese-canadian i would’ve liked to have him talk about this himself, but he said the qna would be enough and ran away. kaji was nicknamed “karma” for his bad luck, and at this point people have forgotten his actual name. he doesn’t mind it that much. karma is the son of tyche, the goddess of fortune. he knows, but as far as he’s aware he doesn’t have any powers, so he honestly doesn’t care. he lives with his dad, and his three half-sisters. his mimi (stepmom) and his dad raised, but she died of a hereditary heart condition when he was eight. she was essentially his mother figure growing up, and dislikes his actual mother, who doesn’t really like him, so it works out. he doesn’t have any REALLY good friends, and his best friends are probably his teammates on his basketball team from middle school. he gets along with his family very well, and doesn’t mind babysitting his little sisters most of the time. he’s a bit of a germaphobe though. doesn’t like crowded places or public restrooms. he wears a mask sometimes because of that too. in ninth grade he had an emo phase and got piercings above his eye and two each on his ear. he likes wearing earring but don’t mention the aforesaid emo phase… not long after he started kindergarten, he got a really high fever for some reason and could’ve died. later his dad and mimi found out he’d caught it from an older student at his school. after that he got really conscious of sicknesses and if there’s something going around he gets really anxious/nervous and sometimes skips school. on top of that, he gets sick pretty easily.
