Origin of the Chess Anime Well, some of you may already know, but my name is syougiosero, so I used the character for "chess" from the Japanese chess (shogi). Some of you may be thinking, "Wouldn't a shogi anime be fine?", but that would end up sounding like a shogi anime, so I went with a chess anime. ↓Spoiler alert (Maybe it's best to watch the anime first.)
