I've just realized something that I feel really silly about- At least, about the fact it took me this long to notice. Its been three months since I posted an original song, and for those three months I've pushed myself to write something good. So much so that I burnt myself out :'> I set this expectation that I have to have a perfect song out once every month. But I (sadly) can't control when I write an actually good song- So uh, I'm probably going to take a little break from posting original songs. And yes, I kind of have already taken a break, but I wasn't letting myself rest during that break, which defeats the point ToT
