Hallo! This is where my Rain World Art Month stuff is gonna go! All 31 responses will be here (I do not want nor need 31 separate projects cluttering My Stuff x-x) I’ll add to it each day if I can, so stay tuned! I’m also putting a Difficulty counter on each art description below, showing approx. the time taken and how hard it would be to draw again, measured on a scale of 1-5 ^^ These art responses will have a bunch of spoilers for Rain World, Downpour and Watcher, so please do be warned and have fun :3 Click for next •w• Day 1: Stowaway (Dif: 2) In this doodle, a stowaway resides in Subterranean, waiting for its next prey. Only to find maybe the sweet, ever-curious Monk might be better company as a friend than a meal! Day 2: Neurons (Dif: 3) A moment of wonder in a lifetime of fear. Also owange Hunter >:3 Day 3: Artificer (Dif: 3) Her name is whispered by the bravest, even they shudder at it. Her deeds are legend and rumour, it is impossible to tell what’s too far fetched anymore. It feels like she’s done it all. Once she was driven by love, then anger. Now not even rage remains. All that’s left is regret. There are two paths remaining. End her reign of terror. Or end the world as she knows it. Day 4: The Wanderer (Dif: 4) Infinite lands. Dazzling colours. Astonishing wildlife. The Wanderer finds a way through every one of them, changing worlds. Sometimes, worlds change them. But they travel on, with the heartbreaking knowledge that the one place that truly matters is forever out of reach. Day 5: Salination (Dif: 3.5 lol) Suddenly, Watcher feels something following them. A yellow light flickers on in front of them. They turn and see a large, dark shape slowly drifting towards them. Fighting panic, they bite down harder on the stalk of bubble weed and swim cautiously away. The creature does not attack. It just follows at a steady pace. Watcher swims faster. The light up ahead turns orange, in a way that causes them to hesitate. It fades back to the soft yellow, and Watcher’s constantly adapting instincts tell them everything will be fine, if they just continue swimming. Day 6: Worm Grass (Dif: 3) Thousands of years ago, before the Ancients even knew about the Void Sea, a gooieduck named Lupscle snacked on a blade of worm grass :D It is possibly due to the mass hibernation of the gooieducks that led to a population explosion of the grass, meaning there were not enough nutrients for all of it, causing it to begin its ravenous habit of consuming unfortunate animals. Day 7: Undergrowth (Dif: 4) “Believe it or not, I once navigated the Undergrowth too. Was it once? Or was it numerous, nameless times? Perhaps it never happened. Perhaps my lives were just dreams of what my choices stole from me. Don’t make the same mistake, little friend.” Day 8: Heat Ducts (Dif: 3) Fun fact: Heat Ducts was the first region I ever entered Ripplespace in! It was so peaceful, and you can walk through the fire and steam as well making it a lot easier to get around! In this picture, Watcher is just vibing in Ripplespace, enjoying some quiet time to themself -w- Day 9: Centipedes (Dif: 2) The largest is Razon, the smaller red centipede is called Cherrybomb, the centiwings is Levi and the tiny orange bean is Bulb ^^ Razon is very protective, Cherrybomb is adorable and incapable of negative thoughts, Levi is the smart one and Bulb is shy but looks up to his siblings and tries to act like them! In my HC, all red centipedes are female and orange centis and centiwings are males (Aquapedes are vastly different and more like crocodiles are to alligators) Day 10: The Saint (Dif: 2) This path requires patience and complete attunement with the world. Too bad many of us do not have one or both of these things >:3 Day 11: The Monk (Dif: 2) Eat your blues, kids! They’re good for you! Oops, I didn’t mean you, little lizard x-x Day 12: Industrial Complex (Dif: 3) Ah yes, this room brings back memories… Hey guys which do you like more, the silly descriptions or the serious lorey ones? If you lmk in the comments I can do more based on the results :3 Day 13: Garbage Wastes (Dif: 2) “Well… That was terrifying.” Day 14: Miros Bird (Dif: 1) Spooky birb •< The prompt was “Scissorbirds” so I also included a literal scissorbird :3 It’s so goofy lol- Day 15: Fire Spears (Dif: 2) “Brother nooooooooooooooo!!!” Silly bug X3 Day 16: Rivulet (Dif: 3) A soaked creature with no origin, no certain place in the world. It knows no mission, and so it gives itself the quest which brought it high beyond the storm of its life and all worries, into the caverns of a falling king and a plague that drags any others in as it drags him, and finally to the ocean abyss, bursting with forgotten secrets of a time before the creature, who has finally become the master of the deep they were meant to be. Day 17: Graffiti Bomb (Dif: 2) Bang! Splat! The Watcher realised they were still alive, and opening one eye saw the galaxy of colour they had turned into so violently. (Continued)
