However, those who try to escape are only brought closer by the snarls of hungry polar bear mutts, and eventually approach the mysterious newcomer. It is unclear what this newcomer is at first, but upon inspection, it is a large elephant seal. As if stirred by this realization, the creature lifts its head and produces a bellowing roar before galumphing towards the closest tribute and consuming them. The rest of the tributes recoil in horror, and the Capitol is pleased. Let the fun begin! The first event of Round Twelve is a collective non-fatal battle against the elephant seal that must be completed by <DATE>. Pair up with a partner to roll the seal for each other. The battle will end at 8 hp; the seal has a double attack roll, and you have a double dodge roll. If the battle is not completed by the end of the week, the elephant seal will consume your tribute.
