Darth Lazuli and her master Darth Arsonus stood in front of the Jedi Temple. Darth Lazuli remembered her dream where she was trapped inside the flaming Temple and shuddered. "My apprentice," Darth Lazuli turned at the sound of her master's voice. "how should we destroy it." "Fire." Darth Lazuli said, knowing that fire made smoke wich would warn the Jedi in the temple. The two sith watched as the Jedi Temple blazed to life. Suddenly Darth Lazuli knew what she had to do to stop her master. "I'm so sorry" She reached out with the force and pushed Darth Arsonus into the flames. Darth Lazuli had run after pushing her master, and now was looking for any survivors. She found a source of fear and pain and saw the human boy that had been in her dream, caught in the flames. She dashed toward him and pulled him out of the fire. Darth Lazuli brought the boy to the Blazing Shadow, the ship she had come in. It was away from the Temple, deep in the woods. "I've seen you before but I don't know your name" Darth Lazuli turned from her work on erasing the Blazing Shadow's flight recorder, and saw the boy had woken up. "I'm Garnet." The boy said as she sat down next to him. "I don't have a name." She said. "Never needed one." That was a lie, but she didn't want to call herself "Darth" around a Jedi. "Saffron," Garnet said "your name could be Saffron because your eyes are the color of saffron." "I like it." Saffron said
