I'm working on a dystopian fantasy novel. I'll be logging my progress here. My goal is to write at least 500 words a day. March 1st - 886 words written. First half of chapter 1 drafted. Poor goat boy... March 2nd - 555 words written (1441 total.) Chapter 1 is now fully drafted. Poor skeleton guy... March 3rd - 597 words written (2038 total.) Such a talkative robot. March 4th - 778 words written (2816 total.) Death toll thus far: 9. March 5th - 464 words written (3280 total.) March 6th - 719 words written (3999 total.) I love writing non-dialogue scenes. March 7th - 1126 words written (5125 total.) Finished drafting chapter 4. March 12th - 593 words written (5718 total.) March 13th - 501 words written (6219 total.) Poor Rosie... March 15th - 948 words written (7167 total.) Finished drafting chapter 5. March 16th - 136 words written (7303 total.) March 17th - 885 words written (8188 total.) Finished drafting chapter 6. Death toll thus far: 12. March 20th - 1562 words written (9750 total.) Drafted chapter 7. Ah, the joys of war! Unrelated to the story, but it amazes me that three whole people have favorited this project, as that implies they're coming back to look at future logs. Like, guys. I write some numbers and a cryptid sentence. I guess I should probably start doing more than that. March 21st - 1130 words written (10880 total.) Death toll: roughly 50k. March 22nd - 498 words written (11378 total.) I love my genocidal Shakespeare. March 23rd - 1259 words written (12637 total.) I love the trickster fox troupe. March 26th - 446 words written (13083 total.) Ah yes, science. It sure does work. March 27th - 579 words written (13,662 total.) April 2nd - 601 words written (14,261 total.) April 5th - 1273 words written (15,534 total.) I'm not quite sure how to write this part of the story. Stuff needs to happen before big event number 2, but I'm not sure what that stuff should be.
