Perseverance soul Remnant Chara actually has her own name - "Ollie" (idk if NEGATIVE perseverance is a thing, at least i know it isnt CANON to undertale, so I just wanted to mention it. NEGATIVE soul traits are if you have these soul traits for the WRONG reason. Like let's say you have BRAVERY... But you're brave to the point it's reckless. THATS a negative. In this case (perseverance) Chara doesn't know when to give up, therefore destroys everything in the process.. Anyways onto the backstory.. sorry for long explanation) ALL characters originate from undertale BUT have different personalities and no relation to the actual story of undertale. Everyone is a guardian. Remnant is the guardian of the dead universes, protecting the last surviving souls. she's known as remnant sans only because her au is called RemnantTale. Her name is ACTUALLY Amoriel (pronounced - "a- more- ri- el") Her papyrus, whose name is Damon (Day-mon) is the guardian of living souls and living universes and so on. I would mention more, but I really don't want to ;-; Damon died at a young age thanks to Ollie/Chara, never getting the chance to fulfill his role. Every monster was killed, but remnant defeated Ollie.. left with the shattered remains of her AU. She dedicated herself only to the AU she was born in, refusing to let anything near it or destroy it, attempting to hide its code. She was meant to leave her AU when the time came so she may protect partially destroyed ones, but she refused to leave her AU.
