╰┈➤.ᐟ Hi everyone!! Today, we are going to be trying a BRAND NEW art challenge!! We are going to be taking the aesthetics of our fave characters, and drawing OURSELVES in outfits that fit that theme! The unique part is that we aren't just 'cosplaying' as the characters- we have to create our own outfits, based on them!! Credit for the idea goes to CanineCoolArt Studios-Official on yt!! Hope you enjoy~! 1. Yume's fave character, Souma Kei, from the manga 'Last Game'! I love Souma, honestly I could write an essay on why he's my favorite, but I just think the author does such a good job making him so...flawed but likeable? He's really REALLLLYY likeable, I think that his personality for some reason really charms me? He's sooo cute. I don't know, but ever since me and Sakura started reading the manga, he's been my favorite xD If you guys read it, I think you'd understand...>< 2. Yume in his aesthetic! Sooo I was very excited to do this, I wanted to make sure to not literally COSPLAY, so I tried to add stuff like a skirt, but I couldn't bring myself to omit the stripes on the shirt and hoodie, because he basically always wears that. It was a teensy bit difficult deciding what I even THOUGHT his aesthetic was- he typically dresses like a fashionable tokyo boy lol. I also wanted to make it look more girly....so this is what I did!! I put my hair up in buns, because I thought it was a sort of edgy but cute look? I actually had so much fun with the background people, I used this brush and then colored them in, lol. Anyways, I LOVEEEE Souma so much, so I am so happy I got to do this >v< I hope you love my drawing! I'm pretty happy with it. Oh, and I totally recommend the manga, it's LITERALLY my favorite!!! Souma will probably be one of my favorite characters forever okay bye~ <3 3. Sakura's fave character, Ichigo Amano, from the anime Yumeiro Patissiere! It took me FOREVER to decide which character to choose, because I don't have just one 'favorite character'- I have a favorite PER FRANCHISE, and don't really like to compare! But, after much though, Yume suggested Yumeiro Patissiere, since it's my favorite ANIME of all time.... and since I love Ichigo, (the main character!) I picked her! 4. Sakura in her aesthetic! Soooo I made my outfit SUPER frilly and cute, and tried to add lots of ribbons!! Ichigo loves over-the-top cute, almost Paris-style dresses, so I tried to do that! I had the WORST time drawing the hands, but... I got there... eventually ^^; But I do think the result is adorable!!! I love the colors and I think it looks really nice. Ichigo is such a fun and sweet character, so it was really fun drawing myself into that theme! ♡
