Setup: Choose 11 words from your vocabulary list. Assign them a number from 2 to 11. Play: Roll the dice. The total on the "Vocabulary Term" dice will determine which vocabulary term to use. The number on the "Action" die will determine the action you take. Actions 1- Describe and Define 2- Draw a Picture of 3 Compare and Contrast (pick a second word of your choice from the list to compare and contrast the rolled vocabulary word with) 4- Give an Example of 5- Connect to your own life 6- Quote and Paraphrase (find an example in your text of the word being used, quote this sentence and paraphrase the meaning in your own words).
