The Problem with dealing with the 'Demonspawn' France is equipped with is that they're, not, demons. Atleast not really. Holy Weaponry only serves as a morale measure if it works at best. In practice, Shedim and Baphomet are cut from the same cloth as Adytum; Interdimensional Parasites, wandering from world to world, leeching off them through their presence to pretend themselves as the religion most appropriate and absolve it into a form incomprehensible/adequate for absorption. These parasites utilized these defeats to gain more 'information' for their next conquest, and their next conquest, and...whatever. Compared to Kalmkatama, who had experience with previous worlds and could adapt it's strategies accordingly to become a world-ending threat at a moment's notice, this example's Messiah, 'Shedim', was a larvae attracted to the Earth from Adytum's scent (whatever that means). Unlike it's fellow hyperdimensional parasite, Shedim could not force direct control over it's own realm, nor did it have a suitable host (Nalkans) to simply hijack for Body Manipulation. Instead, Shedim would force itself upon the Radiants. A radical sect of Occultists would find themselves turnt into beacons capable of bringing their capacity down to tear into Shedim's own flesh and blood to spawn them into the natural realm. These creatures, named 'Demonspawn', were typically blobs of flesh under their practitioner's control that would indiscriminately slaughter anything in it's path through rapid body alterations to shift it's form. They are not sentient, but they are bloodthirsty, and are sensitive to the scent of such. They have an affinity towards rituals, similarly. These Beacons are spread out across France, and their combined radius allows for these Demonspawn to manifest themselves across Northwestern Europe. An exploit of the sort is being utilized by the practitioners by summoning demonspawn capable of luring in other demons via signal, mostly in Britanny. Dubbed 'Idols', they act as extensions of the beacon, and concentrate these signals into zones which demons are able to freely manifest. These Signals are carried by demonspawn by the backline at all times, planted firmly against the ground to ensure the continuous respawn of demonspawn as they shred through the forces of man. As borders consolidated, the Huvinjian tacticians manage to emply enough knowledge to secure the South, with aquitaine's note of being particularly numerous in idols allowing for constant outflow of demons. The last bastion there is slowly being cut from it's sea access in grueling fashion. In the meanwhile, the French are finally rebuilding their military command under the law of Baphomet.
