Waah I missed being in Generations I'm so excited for this little guy!!! Hopefully nothing bad happens to him gulp. Hopekit is optimistic, curious, and very smart, but somehow oblivious to danger. As a young cat, having fun is his only goal ever, and he generally avoids considering the consequences of his actions. Of the two of his parents, Hopekit takes more after Fallenshadow. Hopekit is relentlessly optimistic, sometimes to a fault. He loves Fallenshadow's soppy life lessons and believes that every cat wants to be a good person at their core. However, this doesn't mean he will shy away from the risky suggestions of his mom. Sneaking out of camp is something he's almost obsessed with, dying to explore and see new things. As a kit, he will constantly pester everyone around him with relentless questions about the Clans and the world in general. He hates, hates feeling sad, and as a kit and apprentice he will do everything he can to avoid being sad or hide his true feelings. This will probably lead to him being a very sad adult, when inevitably something happens to take away his childlike wonder and chronic joy. Note on his eyes - I know we (Me and @penginiz ) had discussed making his eyes more blue as he aged, but considering the recent post about 'cosmetic' abilities from the Generations account, I thought it would be best to start him off with blue eyes and reddish tinted pupils. I used notes from that project and photos of kittens with albinism that I could find to make his eyes look as accurate as possible.) View his littermates here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1273487281 Disability research yapping for my own reference (updated 4/24/2026): - Between 1 and 2 moons old, he'll spend time exploring camp, but become upset by the way the sun makes it harder for him to see. That's not fun at all! Eventually the strain of the sun overcomes his desire to see new things and he'll spend more time in the nursery. getting sunburned bothers him too, but not quite so much as the vision. - As he gets closer to apprentice age, his preferences will flip- a little stinging of his eyes is worth getting out of the den, or even go outside of camp, and he'll think about sneaking out a lot. - As an apprentice he will start looking for things to help with the sun, I think. It'll make sunny days more tolerable. - He has Nystagmus, a condition often a result of albinism, making his eyes sort of twitch involuntarily. Also trips kind of often because he can't always see details on the ground.
