alright… some people have been asking what I paused elimination day for… here’s why. I had this game in mind for a while now, an asym (yes SOoooOoooOoo ORIGINAL!1!1!) but.. it has 2 major twists. 1. A die of death like survivor system, but instead of RNG, you make the build. It’s all your own idea! 2. A cooking minigame. Cook enough food and the doors will open, wihh the many custom recipes and ingredients needed! Before [Elimination Day], I was working on his game, when some game.. not naming who, had the same idea for their survival system. This game had massive progress, and we didn’t. We didn’t want to act like a copycat,, so we just.. stopped. I moved on and came up with elimination day. Then I thought, who cares if we apparently “copied” them? The 2 diehard fans? So we kept going. Canned Elimination Day, and continued production. This is my first game experience. It’s not out yet, and won’t be for a while. (kinda a solo dev) I have made some things, haven’t started coding yet, and only work on it an hour or two daily (unlike others I actually care for my mental health).
