Chapter 1- Lya Lya ran across the beach, Syena following her, her light gray fur shimmering with specks of light. The sun was setting, the waves crashed calmly along the beach, here, Lya felt at home. She sighed, taking in the scent of the beach. She looked up at the falling sun, then at her companion, who was wagging her tail in front of them. "Sigh, isn't this amazing, Sye? This place is beautiful." Lya sighed, still staring out at the sun and the colors around it. Syena barked in agreement; this was their area. Nobody came down here, but they another secret area as well. They sprinted down farther along the beach until they reached a tree. It wasn't any tree, though. Or at least, not to them. The tree was decorated in celestial objects, like cutouts of the sun, moon, stars, planets, and other objects in space and above them. Lya had always loved learning about the celestials and space. She had always felt connected to the stars for some reason, and could never figure out why. She sat down on a mossy log that was under the tree and threw a stick for Syena. Lya would sometimes use Syena as a scare tactic, since so many people thought she was a wolf, even though she was very friendly. Lya laid her head against the rock behind the log, and could feel herself drifting off to sleep. "Psst. Lya, right? Wake up." she opened her eyes, but couldn't see anything. She rubbed her eyes, but it was still pitch black. Then, everything became bright, and she saw the world in the brightest colors. "Woah!" she said, startled by the brightness of the world. Then she realized, 'I'm not in Hilaya anymore, am I?' A figure came up to her, and Lya had to blink before the colors showed up. She was wearing a black shirt with the moon cycle on it, black ripped jeans, black biker boots, and a black leather jacket. Lya couldn't speak. She smiled at me, and for a minute, I was stuck looking at her outfit. She looked down and laughed. "Like my clothes, huh?" she asked. I felt my cheeks get hot, but nodded anyway. "I'm Luna, but here I go by Liara. What's your name?" "Um, my name's Lya. Well, technically, my real name is Lyane, but I go by Lya. I don't know what I go by here. I don't even know what this place is." I laughed. Luna smacked her forehead. "Ugh, I forgot you're new! Well, this is Selesta, the place of the celestials. We can give you a celestial name, if you would like." she offered. 'That would be cool,' I thought. "Sure!" I said. Luna smiled and waved at me to follow her. "I'm thinking something related to Lya, probably. Maybe..." she looked up, clearly thinking. I started wondering what I was doing in a place of celestials. I was just an ordinary human being with a passion for celestials anyways, I didn't have a place among them. "Ooh! How about Solarys? It's ok if you don't like it, it was just a suggestion." Luna said. I thought about it. "I don't think it really suits me, but it's a pretty name. But you gave me a good idea for a name." I told her as a lightbulb went off in my head. "What about Solaya? That way, it gets the solar, or sun aspect, but you can go by Lya or Laya if you want." Luna's eyes shine. "That's amazing! Oh, we're running out of time. We'll talk later, Lya. Bye." she said as the world started fading. I woke up to see myself laying in the sand, Syena's nose nudging mine. I got up and petted her, letting her know I was fine. "I'm good. Wow, that was a weird dream." I said to myself. I then noticed the moon coming up, and thought to myself. 'Maybe it wasn't a dream at all.'
I made this because I love the celestials, and celestial beings such at the sun, moon, stars, planets, universes, stuff like that. I'm hoping to make part 2 soon. Hope you guys enjoyed :33 Ik it's a long chapter but I wanted to write before I lost the idea of the book
