The Beacons and Idols were demon hotspots, and these reserves could show up...functionally anywhere, unlike Adytum's restriction of needing to be in their territory. As a result, attempts at subjugation of their like would be the witness of massacres as demonspawn rapidly manifested and were lured to the signals of interest. Formation did not matter, nor did encapsulation, as these signals were fundamentally on a different format separate from the Electromagnetic Spectrum, spiralling into the dimension where Shedim's flesh resided. Though, on the front lines themselves, the French were ready. Baphomet wills upon the forces of all who could fight to keep themselves free of the Holy League, all interests in equity for the French people that had no interest in the faith of catholicism. Secular, Institutionalized folks, and others that would find themselves not on the best terms with the Christian world at this point were rallied the best they could under the light of Baphomet within the capital of Paris and other cities. With the French Military on their side, the front that once faltered could begin their most brutal counteroffensive yet. Salvation should, and could be reached without the nagging of the cross' fervor biting down on the teeth of every last man. Agnosticism and a sincerity for the people made Baphomet's pleas oddly satisfying for the non-christian peoples of France, disheveled by the idea of a Christian-Mandated Europe. Equality could come through the bloodstream. Demonspawn forces in the South were a lostcause for the most part, but would cause havoc within enemy lines still as Huvinjian and Holy League forces would be forced into Guerilla Warfare of their own against increasingly adaptive forces built specifically to thrive in the mountaineers of France. Counteroffensives of their numbers, about 200,000, into the south towards the mountains would allow for reconnection and coordination of Demonic Forces to migrate northward, seeing as Huvinjia could attack from all sides. ...Now, Switzerland would be a big one. As forces came down upon the spawn of the pocket, Idols would be chucked enmass by demonspawn via crossing the border into Switzerland past Huvinjian forces. Unburdened by the terrain as much as Humans were, the Demons were quick to settle themselves through terrorizing Southwestern Switzerland. Thought technically not at war with them, their current colors within the nation denote areas of high presence that they'd use to harrass Huvinjian support in the region. On the border between North and South, the main fighting took place. The French Army, mobilized and ready to deploy reinforcements, would engage in a counteroffensive through redirecting their bombing forces from Britanny (the nation was faltering, they didn't feel the need to continue bringing troops there) to assist in their enforcement of a deadlock. Fighting an uphill battle, the French demonspawn and Troops would force upon a model of trench warfare hazardous to tanks; artillery and 'sound barrier breaking' tendrils were lined with the multitude of idols in their midst, 'instantaneous fortification' models of bags and dirt implanted to grind the advancing Holy League and Huvinjians to a halt; In the air, the French Airforce was dogfighting. With most of the infrastructure of France's once nice airforce under the jurisdiction of Baphomet, the more underdeveloped Holy League would need to be hardcarried by Huvinjia and Marleyian pilots far from their homeland. A much different theater was occuring at sea. With Huvinjia engaging it's own blockade of Northern France, Baphomet's field would see the rapid production of, simply put, Leviathans. Similar to those in Britanny, Massive Serpentine creatures could dig through the substrate that was the sea in mere seconds through undulations of their hardy scales, organs developed specifically for rapid fluctuations in temperature, production and utilization of Radiation to create massive rays of light, and most importantly: Echolocation. Huvinjian Ships and submarines would see themselves quickly encircled, overrun, and rended apart by the sight of Serpentine Creatures far larger than they could expect speeding through the water like homing missiles. Periodic peppering of lazers from these kaijus would reach the shores of Huvinjia and Britanny's coasts, damaging infrastructure, harbors, ships, and shipping vessels on military sites to partially cripple and shock the population. The most infamous and devastating would be center along the very rim of a harbor simply known as 'Goudstad'. An Idoled Submarine would kamikaze into the local port, breaking said Idol and forcing an explosion that'd attract the manifestation of tens of dozens of Leviathans breaking the water surface and, conjoining their lazers, completely annihilating the bay. Huvinjian Waters became saturated with 15-meter serpentine flesh-eating monsters after that. They're not sure about the German Frenchmen.
