Pokémon PikaCoaster is a high-speed, story-driven attraction that places guests in the middle of a large-scale Pokémon training simulation gone wrong. Guests are invited to participate in a cutting-edge energy research demonstration led by Professor Oak and a team of Trainers, showcasing how Electric-type Pokémon generate sustainable power for the region. When Team Rocket infiltrates the facility in an attempt to siphon the massive electrical output produced by Pikachu and other Electric-type Pokémon, the demonstration spirals into chaos. Riders board prototype response vehicles to help restore power, pursue the intruders, and assist Pikachu in unleashing a final, decisive Thunderbolt that saves the day.
