There is little to no inter-country communication or trade, as only select people are even allowed to exit Notacoult. Most trade is done inside the nation, and the currency is backed by itself. Notacoult has a very large military, run by Jackson Faring. Roughly 1/10th of the population and spending is in border control and other military operations. However, diplomacy is typically the first option chosen.
Garranism - Garranism is a religion, loosely tied to Christianity, but extremely strict, with most cimes ending in immediate execution. It is monotheistic, with a small group of prophets, known as "halbreeds" {hah-le-brEEds}. It teaches kindness and respect to all deserving, and, furthermore, to only speak to those deserving (that being the people in Garranism.), and he only people allowed to speak to the outside being Garranism. Outside media is allowed, but heavily filtered.
