The Roman-Carthaginian Republic came about a union between two rival factions in the Mediterranean. It has 3 branches, with the representative body appointing the consuls(of which there are 4) and the consuls appoint the iudicies. Elections only happen for the representative body(Senate) every 5 years. It is split into many provinces, each with its one governor elected. Budget around 50 billion for services. The most populous city in the country is Rome, while the capitals are Rome and Tunis. The major political parties are the Roman Nationalist Party, the Unitarians, and the Mediterranean Socialist Party. The official language is Latin. The current leader of the Senate is the Unitarians, popular in Spain and North Africa, and of the consuls, 3 are Unitarians, the other is a Socialist.
Plurality of people follow Christianity, but there is a major Jewish population as well( the area has been very tolerant) , and significant religious freedom.
