(Click for a call) Thumbnail: A lone bull Triceratops detects a threat nearby and stands his ground, ready to take it on. Triceratops (/traɪˈsɛrətɒps/ try-SERR-ə-tops; lit. 'three-horned face') is a genus of chasmosaurine ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the late Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 to 66 million years ago on the island continent of Laramidia, now forming western North America. It was one of the last-known non-avian dinosaurs and lived until the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event 66 million years ago. The name Triceratops, which means 'three-horned face', is derived from the Ancient Greek words τρί- (trí-), meaning "three", κέρας (kéras), meaning "horn", and ὤψ (ṓps), meaning "face".
For the umpteenth time... However, this WILL be the final major Trike remodel that I will make. Any updates will only be done to this model in the form of slight tweaks to either give it a slight overhaul or to fix mistakes. (Unless we somehow find a mummified Triceratops fossil. Hopefully that doesn't happen lol) === NOTES + CREDITS === If this is used, give me credit. Music: Prehistoric Planet Theme - Hans Zimmer (Thought it was fitting for a final Trike remodel, okay) Colours were inspired by Saurian's Triceratops === TRIVIA === This was actually meant to be a birthday gift for myself. Unfortunately, Mum decided to take me out for a holiday and I couldn't post the vector on my birthday. Oh well, its better late than never I guess. In a sense, this Trike vector was made as a sort of tribute to the various other versions I made of it. These include: 1. The weird face shield thing of V2, V9 and V10 2. The coloration of V3 (around the head at least). 3. The frill patterns of V4 and V5. 4. The transition from the head to the neck from V5 and V6. 5. The somewhat bizarre patterning of V7 and V8 (to a lesser extent don't worry) 6. The perfect circle spam of V9 (again to a lesser extent.) 7. The overall simplistic design of V1 and V10 I guess. 8. The call of V10 (it sounded too fitting for Trike, okay?) There was SOME gradient spam around the neck. I only did so to help separate the head from the neck in a natural way. This is actually the 12th Triceratops remodel that I've made; I made another version a while back but just didn't like the result of it.
