It has been a wild ride with the roadmap for this litter, and the story for Water-Lilyredemption and Wildfirelament has gone a vastly different direction than I had expected back when announced. But, this has been stalled enough as it is, so let's get right into it! ♕...❀ ˖⊹✦⊹˖ ❀...♕ Meet the parents: Wildfirelament @SilverFeatherPro101 Gen 1 Falcon x Loner hybrid She/They/Chirp/Talon - Dama/Damather As the deputy of Falconclan, Wildfirelament has a lot on their plate, and the heavy load of five new kittens and the grief of a lost sixth adds evermore to chirp's shoulders. Wildfirelament is a good cat, or at least, she sure hopes that talon is, and tries their best to be. Loyal to a fault to chirp's clan and a chronic workaholic, Wildfirelament can be a bit jaded and cold at times, especially with that bird-like mask that talon wears, but they're fiercely protective, supportive and loving to the cats she cares about. Wildfirelament, as a parent, is very involved and attentive, even when it doesn't seem like they are. No matter how busy and packed Wlam's schedule may be, talon will always make time for them. To play, to talk, to comfort, to aid, whatever it may be, if they need her, chirp will be there. Above all else, Wlam's top priority is to make sure that chirp's kits never go a second doubting whether or not they are loved. They are leaps and bounds better at showing her affection to others than how chirp was moons ago (Water-Lilyredemption can certainly attest..) but they still struggle at times, especially in times where they struggle with their mental health and loose sight of her better judgement. Wildfirelament, the ever-lawful and disciplined fowl that chirp is, will teach her kits to value the code and the structure of the clan above all. After all, chirp is the deputy. Her kits and their actions are reflections on talon and their own reputation. Water-Lilyredemption @Silent-Melody Falconcat They/Them - Mapa/Ren Water-lilyredemption loves with their whole heart... and fears with equal measure. They remember the Snugglebugdream of their kithood, and strives to emulate faer steady presence in Water-Lily's younger days. All they want is to be an emotional anchor their kits can always return to, no matter what they’ve done or how they feel. They make a point of listening first, comforting their kits before correcting them, and ensuring their kits know that Water-lily will always love them. They have a little practice on how to be a parent from their first litter, though still perpetually worried, trying their best to support their kits, and with their coping of not being able to do that for Glorykit/courage, tends to spoil the rest a little. But Water-lily is an anxious cat, and with every step they take, the little voice in the back of their mind questions them. Are they doing enough? What if they've already done something wrong? They bury these thoughts deep in their mind, as far from their kits eyes as possible. This fear often pushes them to overcompensate, coming off as too overbearing, too protective, too much. They will do anything to be a good parent, even when it’s exhausting or strains them. They've seen how kits could be hurt by their parents actions in the past, and their greatest fear is to hurt their own that same way.
