The planet of Alknaelia had never really been peaceful. The landscape was dry, the skies were gloomy, and the oxygen was quite thin. For Glitch, it was sort of depressing, though he never really showed it. One night, he was jerked awake by his two siblings, Lilac and Ragnorak. Everything went by in a blur. One moment, he was rushing out of bed, and by the next, he was on the ground. "Ragnarok and I are going to take on the threat! You take the soldiers, little brother." Glitch pushed himself up, muttering, "I got it" as he ran off. Within seconds, he was bombarded with bullets and lasers, having to alter his movements almost instantaneously just to keep up. Seeing is mere speed wasn't doing much, Glitch upped his force by ten, drawing his fist back and connecting cleanly with a soldier's jaw. The soldier yelled and gripped his face right before Glitch followed up with a quick two-hit jab to the sternum. He didn't think twice at the sight of a body, trying to eliminate as many soldiers as he could in as little time as possible. It was a harder fight than he'd predicted; some soldiers were made of quite the mineral. He eventually defeated the last one, panting. He thought about resting right before a giant explosion erupted from a few miles away. The very location his siblings had been fending off a so-called "threat". Glitch rushed over there to find... nothing, not a trace of them, save Lilac's favorite bracelet that was given to her by their late mother. Glitch slowly picked the bracelet up, placing it around his wrist and tying it gently. Rage was boiling, anger was brewing. That was when he saw it. A black, gooey figure the size of a skyscraper. "State your name, or I'll beat it out of you," Glitch said. The figure simply laughed. "You? You're just a child. A barely trained one at that." Glitch jumped and punched the figure with everything in him. For a moment, it seemed like he'd managed to hurt the figure, until he got backhanded by the front side of the figure's enormous hand. Glitch hit the ground several times before coming to a stop. Immediately, he ran at the figure, his fist emitting an emerald color as he vanished. He reappeared in front of the figure, punching with more force as he yelled, "Glistening Fist!" There was more damage this time, but not by much. The figure growled and nabbed at Glitch, but he dodged into a backhand spring, gracefully landing onto the ground. "Getting your butt kicked by a nine-year-old kid? Where's your honor?" "Nobody lands a hit on the great Black Doom and live to tell the tale!" Glitch smirked, but he wasn't happy at all. He was still flaming hot with rage and malice. He slowly squatted, the air around him starting to burn as his energy began to surge. Glitch's smirk vanished as the grey part of his quills started to overtake the emerald until they were completely bleached. His physique got more muscular, and his eyes took on a dangerous silver as he finally let out, "Glitched Boost!" With that, Glitch dashed forward, faster than before, meeting Black Doom's punch with his own. The impact almost broke his entire arm, but he didn't care. He immediately zipped up the gooey, soft material and twisted himself into a dropkick position before plummeting downward into the tyrant's face. Black Doom let out a pained growl and immediately punched Glitch. His fist was so big that every area of Glitch's body hurt; a burning sensation ripped through him. With barely the strength to stand, Glitch clenched his right fist, emerald light emitting from it. It was burning way more than before. Glitch broke into a final sprint, pushing past the painful bursts of heat in his legs. He leaped from the ground and stared right at Black Doom. Time seemed to slow down, just for a moment. He could see the surprise in Black Doom's eyes. He could hear the screams of people being killed. He could feel the pressure of the air around him. Time returned to normal as Glitch pushed his fist forward, yelling at the top of his lungs. "MAXIMUM OUTPUT GLISTENING FIST!!" he cried as his fist connected with Black Doom's jaw. Glitch shut his eyes as he flew to the ground, rolling for a bit before hitting a rock. Glitch had won... or so he thought. Black Doom yelled in frustration as he looked around for Glitch. When he couldn't find him, he leapt off. It took a while, but Glitch eventually made himself get up and dug out his family's old emergency escape pod. It was older than he was, and the model was ancient, but it would have to do. He booted it up and set some coordinates to a random planet. He didn't care as long as he was away from this stupid, sorry world. As his pod began to leave the atmosphere, the planet of Alknaelia exploded to nothingness. Glitch watched in horror. Yes, he had strongly disliked the planet, but he hadn't wanted to see it gone.
@-Blizzey- (ME!!) for the story and characters @MiracleJones for inspiring me to write a thing (YES YOU TURNED ME INTO A WRITER) @Grammarly for helping patch up my writing cuz it sucks :p If you couldn't tell, some of this is based on Dragon Ball Z (Bardock: The Father of Goku), but instead of leaving a spew of the targeted, genocided race, I left a single one. As in.. one.
