This is a remake of my earlier game, Negotiating the Chasm, which in turn is a really bad remake of PuffballUnited's Crossing the Pit. This is part of a series where I poorly remake The Henry Stickmin Collection (+ some fangames of it). Pre-Prologue: Negotiating the Chasm: Stick Guy is a stickman who is about to rob a bank since he's low on cash. He's on his way to the famously highly unguarded Nowhere Bank in the middle of the desert, but first, he has to cross this dreaded chasm... This game has one ending: Chasm Negotiated Try to find them all! Oh, yeah, you can click "See Inside" and open the Concept Art sprite, where you can find stuff I drew before they were added in, sounds I made/added to the game, and more! And also the Bios sprite, to find a bio for every single character in the game! Although, there's not a lot of characters here to begin with... Updates: 03/26/2026 - THE GAME HAS BEEN RELEASED!!! 03/27/2026 - i accidentally left the credits sprite in draggable mode which means u could drag it around in the credits so i fixed that now u cant drag it around
I remade this with the intent of 2 things: 1. Making it better (duh) 2. Separating the characters and backgrounds by making them different sprites (I made a horrible mistake doing this for Fracturing the Depository, which is why I held off on making it for so long, and for Evading the Lockup, the unreleased third game that I still haven't finished) as it made it very difficult to animate and ALSO it made the game load SO SLOW for my PC I couldn't work on it any longer without ripping my hair... so I'm doing that for this, Fracturing, and Evading. Here's the original if you wanna play: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/787472336 Differences from the Original: The style is more in line with Fracturing the Depository and Evading the Lockup, with color and a design for Stick Guy with line eyes instead of dot eyes. I also didn't keep the rigged design from Fracturing the Depository, as I abandoned it when I started working on Evading the Lockup because it was too strict. The pit looks different, it looks more like two cliffs facing each other now, which I think is a lot more cinematic. Fail messages and an ending leading to Fracturing the Depository! I wanted the two games to be really similar to each other. Anyway, onto credits: Henry Stickmin is owned by Innersloth and PuffballsUnited. Voice acting from me. The grunt Stick Guy makes when he kicks in the bridge fail is actually a soundclip I took from the cancelled version of Dadragon 2 which I released in May 2022 (play it here, altho it sucks and isnt really a game: Pole Vault fail message is from youraislopbores.me, a website where anonymous people pretend to be AI and answer other anonymous people's questions... thank you, Anon, for suggesting this fail message! Also, screw actual AI, IT WILL NEVER REPLACE PROGRAMMERS AND ANIMATORS!!!!!! ALL CODE IS MINE. Original game is Crossing the Pit. The music I made was made on Chrome Music Lab. Copyrighted music is from Green Day and Yes. Special Thanks to: The Poopyloops for looking at some sneak peeks (my friend group, thx guys ALSO MARI AND CARD WILL BE RETURNING IN THE FtD REMAKE TRUST) My classbandmates for looking at some sneak peeks (thx guys) Here are the other Stick Guy games: Fracturing the Depository - Fracturing the Depository REDUX - might release evading the lockup's OG version in its unfinished state when the EtL remake is out
