Okay, now anxiety research. This was done for an application and I’m moving it to a project so I can add it to my research studio. Note: I myself have diagnosed anxiety, so this is mainly based on my experience and research I have done for myself. Some information might not fit to all types of anxiety. What is anxiety? How is it caused? — Anxiety can be seen as both an emotion and a common mental health condition. It’s important to understand the distinction, fear is more worrying about what is currently happening and anxiety is worrying about what might happen. In this case it’s the latter, and can be characterized as feelings of worry and nervousness. Often times this comes in the form of worry for what the future might hold, or dwelling on things that already happened. Physically anxiety is when your nervous system activates the fight/flights response even when there is no danger. - Anxiety is caused by a number of reasons, some still unknown. One of the most common causes however is being passed down from family to family member. What are the effects of anxiety? — Some of the effects and symptoms of anxiety are persistent worrying, fear of possible situations, difficulty sleeping, restlessness, fidgeting, and increased heart rate. Depending on what triggers someone has they may do specific things meant to keep them away from that thing, such as hiding to stay away from a social situation. How can one cope with anxiety? — While anxiety can never fully disappear, there are plenty of ways to manage and control it. Things like breathing exercises, talking to loved ones, meditation, recognizing triggers, and medication can help a lot. Different people use different methods to help them the most, and some don’t work with different types of anxiety.
