you know what hurts someone u love but cant have its like holding your breath underwater beautiful for a moment but it starts to ache the longer u stay u know they're not yours but your heart does not care it still skips when they smile still softens when they speak and you just sit there pretending it doesn't hurt pretending your okay with being just friends its the kind of pain that's quiet but heavy you cant be mad you cant be sad u just exist in that between space of wanting and letting go and the worst part you'd still choose them knowing you cant have them..
