space/tap to advance TRANSLATED VERRSION (if you cant read my handwriting) 0. Get your references! Always have some sort of inspo/idea of what you will draw. For example, I'm drawing my oc. 1. Have a rough sketch (get your basic form and details) 2. add your base colours +look at anatomy? (sometimes you'll notice anatomical mistakes after adding colours) 3. add finer details + fix anatomy 3.1 add some depth to the bangs using a more grey colour when following up w/ a darker color 3.2 for less grey muddy shading have colour picker diagonal- also think about your planes! 3.3 planes are the surfaces of your object, so think about which planes your light will hit! 4. Now that the base colours are done, it is time to render (i'll render the fur first) 4.1 getting a grey colour (still in the same colour range the base) because most fur usually have a more grey shadow compared to hair 4.2 block out your shapes! Start big, then go smaller. Also use cross-hatching to add more texture in your blending. :) 5. Continue this process... Enunciate your form using your darker values... if they are on the darker side, sometimes it's ok to use black in a small amount. And that's it! I won't go into skin rendering bc i don't really render skin... but follow this process, and you'll definitely get a full piece! Remember that this may not work for everyone, and I'm not a professional... but i hope this will help! Babay
