We tried, fellas! Over the past 3 years, we've made a lot of memories. Concepts, nights staying up testing, and telling an epic story. Project Coach (Conco Land) began development on May 3rd, 2023 and was first conceptualized Jan 16th, 2023. Conco Land was my first major project, and i still respect it a lot, it's just that the concept of Conco Land doesn't really work anymore due to server costs, low popularity, and the over-saturated market of Gorilla Tag clones, which Conco Land could have easily been mistaken as, and people don't even play VR anymore. If Conco Land was ever finished, it would fail. Conco Land got me into refining n00b (now "CubeHead"), making better music, 3D animation, and most importantly, Unity, the game engine Conco Land was originally being developed in. Now, i spend most of my time every day making music, Unity games, and even general software as of the past year. I make more useful and fun projects now, and even though it's caused me to mostly abandon Scratch, and quit VR entirely, i spent my time doing what i loved. Behind the poor game design of old Conco Land builds was hope and ambition. The goal of Conco Land was to make the most friendly, accessible, and fun video game, after all. Conconians are still very much a character and species in SparkLeap games and animations. Sometimes i wonder if i made the wrong choice, pursuing Unity game development, software development, and all other crap when i could have just kept making n00b Shorts... and honestly, i dunno. I guess it's good that i tried, and the amount i learned at the end of the day is worth a lot. Will i ever try again with Conco Land? Honestly, maybe. If so, it won't be like the originally promised Conco Land. It might be a singleplayer game focused on the Conco Land story, hell, it might be a long animation, or a book, for all i know. But regardless of what happens, i will never forget Conco Land or the memories i made along the way and the phenomenal people i met trying.
