⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ upon recieving his first apprentice, i've written a guide that details what manateeflutter will teach and his teaching style (mostly because i don't think we would be able to cover every interaction). ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ ☼ table of contents ☼ 1.0 teaching style 2.0 basic topics 3.0 special topics ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ 0.1 - teaching styles because of his own apprenticeship experience, manateeflutter might have some unconventional ways of passing his knowledge onto cranberrypaw. ☼ manateeflutter will expect cranberrypaw to form their own opinions. if they don't like something about how they're training, he will expect them to speak up. he doesn't want his apprentice to suffer because they don't like something, and will make adjustments to how the two train. ☼ he would also expect cranberry to find their own interests. if they want to learn about said special topics from manateeflutter, he would be willing to make time outside of the regular training sessions to teach him. ☼ tey won't be strict with his training, knowing that he struggled to train as an apprentice. he would try to find ways to make training fun and won't scold cranberrypaw for missing a session, so long as they make it up some other time. ☼ he's never had an apprentice before, so he's bound to make some mistakes. because of this, manateeflutter would encourage his apprentice to learn things from other warriors because they might have a better teaching method than him (or because they might have skills he might not possess). ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ 2.0 - basic topics hunting: ★★★☆☆ tracking: ★★★★★ combat: ★★★★★ swimming: ★★☆☆☆ water combat: ★★☆☆☆ advanced battle moves: ★★★★★ balance & coordination: ★★☆☆☆ (he would expect that cranberry already knows this) survival skills: ★★★☆☆ climbing: ★★★★☆ first aid: ★★★☆☆ stealth: ★★★★★ clan history: ★★★☆☆ afterlives: ★★★☆☆ other clans & their territories: ★☆☆☆☆ (he doesn't know much about other clans, though he encourages cranberry to talk to those outside shadowclan to learn more) ★☆☆☆☆ - Taught poorly ★★☆☆☆ - Taught okay-ish ★★★☆☆ - Taught averagely ★★★★☆ - Taught well ★★★★★ - Masterfully taught ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒ 3.0 - special topics masking emotions: ★★★★☆ poisons (basic): ★★★★☆ emotional manipulation: ★★★☆☆ gathering information/spying: ★★★★★ how to gain an advantage over someone else (whether it's a fight or just a debate): ★★★★☆ *he will also teach any special skills cranberrypaw wants to learn. *most of these skills are to help cranberrypaw learn how to gain an advantage in any scenario. *plants are taught in detail because manateeflutter's father absolutely loved them, and tey has listened to his father enough to understand which plants are good for healing and which ones are poisonous. ⭒. ──. ˚₊‧ ☼ ‧₊˚.── .⭒
