So i guess i have to give some context about this bizzare comic: So a while back our english teacher assignes us to make a short comic in english that teaches good morals or something like that. I LOVED this assignment because i used to make comics when i was little and i enjoyed it a lot. I had a lot of interesting characters and plots that i enjoy, even using them up until today. But i wanted to challenge myself and do a concept i had never done with new characters, so that the "good morals" theme could actually work. I eventually thought on just making a story that teaches to not use stereotypes to judge people, since we are all the same on the inside, but i had to come with characters to fit this theme. Then i thought this: "Hey, shapes are very different on the outside but shares a lot of things in the inside" And after that: "Hey, The Tale of the Three Shapes is really cool" After that, the whole story just kinda came together, and even if it looks like a weird russian knockoff ot ttotts, i am really happy with the final product, and actually got a perfect grade on this work! :D So thanks to @ScottyTrashBin for the idea! (dont ask why square has a roblox face in panel 6, its a long story)
TRANSCRIPT (not 100% accurate) -In a a faraway planet, light years away from earth, where its inhabitants are basic geometric shapes, there were two shapes, a CIRCLE and a SQUARE -This two shapes hated each other because of harmful stereotypes they heard SQUARE: (i heard circles hate pizza, who doesnt like pizza?) CIRCLE: (i heard squares hate cats, but i love cats!) CIRCLE: Why are you looking at me like that, ugly square? SQUARE: Ugly??!! You wanna fight?! CIRCLE: Yeah, lets fight!! (Battle scene that takes 2 panels) TRIANGLE: (jumps and stops the battle) STOP!!! TRIANGLE: Its not fair to judge people because of stereotypes you heard that may or may not be true, you should give each other a fair chance, who knows? Maybe you could be friends! CIRCLE and SQUARE, at the same time: Im sorry circle/square, but i thought you hated pizza/cats… what? I love pizza/cats! -And so, the three shapes talked for hours and would soon form a strong friendship, teaching us to not base our opinions around stereotypes. THE END
