Growing up I was taught that any “mental problems” were just a part of life. I recently learnt younger generations are open to discussing mental health, anxiety, and personal struggles, but older generations just said it’s life and you gotta just deal with it. And that idea makes me jealous, because I couldn’t just push my pride down and open up. I wish I could talk but why would I bother someone with the same thing they’ve already gone through. People need to learn everyone has problems, I’ve already come to the realization my “problems” are just the tip of the iceberg, and I was complaining while others are drowning at the bottom.
