Most of us are familiar to the famous mathematical constant correlating to circles, pi, otherwise known as the Greek symbol π. Defined by the circumference of a circle divided by its diameter, the number of purposes this number has are limitless. This number is also known for being irrational, a number whose decimal point terms are infinite with no end for π = 3.14159265359... Circles, spirals, rotation, architecture, almost everything we use today and those that will be used in the future. All contain this wonderful, beautiful mathematical constant, pi. And so, in closing, have a Happy Pi Day!
The effect was found completely by accident! Glad to have found this beautiful illusional translucent circles effect! This is a rather simple art design and added effects for pi. The oscillating size movement and effects are based on a special function called the sine function! This function correlates beautifully with the power of pi and circles, along with other breath-taking effects that are possible through the definition of pi! Again, Happy Pi Day!
