Acrow has been... Distant lately. Distant enough for most of the performers in the circus to notice — even Harlequin noticed her decreasing presence around the circus. Guillotine hated seeing his best friend distance herself from the others, knowing how it felt. He left gifts of crochet animals or small crochet plushies of the other circus members. They would always be taken, of course, but he would never see her physically take them into her tent. She hasn't been seen by anyone other than Jester, as he claims. "She's not feeling too well, you should just leave her alone, Gui." He stated while doing paperwork, "I assume she's sick, or she just wants an excuse to get away from everyone." He rolled his wrist around, not looking up to see Guillotine. His eye twitched in annoyance at the vague answer Jester gave him. The last person he really wanted to go to was Doctor, considering Acrow wasn't fond of the man, but he still had to /try/ and see if she was okay. Leading the taller man over to the orange tent, gentle sniffles came from inside. "Acrow? Are you okay?" Guillotine asked gingerly. No response. "Acrow?..." His voice shrank as he opened the front of her tent. It was a mess in there. Her animals were sitting in a circle around something — or some/one./ Doctor walked closer, pushing past the animals to see Acrow curled into a ball, crying. She looked... Different. She had horns, pointy ears, and a tail. Looking closer, her tears were black and sticky, like tar. "Huhum... Seems like her body is finally catching up to her monster form. Nothing to worry about, she'll just be moody." Doctor noted, turning on his heel and leaving her tent. Guillotine huffed and sat next to her, rubbing her back as she cried. "It hurts so much..." She sobbed silently, one of her lions lying its head next to her. "I'm ugly now..." Her voice cracked as she let more of the inky-black tears fall.
