˖° ✰ Hi everyone! Today, we are going to be drawing Jessie and James from Team Rocket-- TOGETHER?? Hope you enjoy~! *'↷ Jessie (by Sakura) and James (by Yume)!! So!! We wanted to draw Jessie and James together because we've loved Pokemon ever since we were babies- and the fact that we have NEVER drawn the most dynamic duo just didn't make sense- so today, we re-wrote that wrong! >v< We eventually decided on this pose for them after looking through a LOT of official screenshots! Drawing James' proportions proved to be a challenging feat for Yume, because his shoulder and face just seemed to REFUSE to look right. Sakura was REALLY worried about drawing Jessie's hair and lipstick, since it's quite out of her comfort zone- but much to her relief, it turned out looking great!The background is this galaxy watercolor-style splash, and Sakura decided to draw Meowth in the far bottom-left corner, because we thought it'd be totally unfair to leave him out! It was so fun doing this, and honestly, we're so happy with the result!! It matches the style of Pokemon just the right amount, while still letting our OWN styles shine through- not to mention, our artwork looks pretty cohesive in this piece!! WE really, really hope you all enjoy~! ♡
