*Spoilers for Deathly Hollows* "Young blood thinks there's always tomorrow. I miss your smile these times when I'm hollow. I know you crossed the bridge that I can't follow..." "You're a legend in my own mind, my middle name, my goodbye..." "You tore me up more than you know..." "Days pass by, and my eyes, they dry, and I think that I'm okay, 'til I find myself in conversation, fading away. The way you smile, the way you walk, The time you took to teach me all that you had taught, tell me, how am I supposed to move on?" Today is Remus Lupin's birthday. If he had not died, today he would be 66 years old, with a 28-year-old child. He would be surrounded by family and friends, and his transformations would not bother him, because Harry would buy Wolfsbane Potion for him with Harry's family fortune. He would be happy. Instead, he died at 38 years old, just after having a baby. Far too young. He had just married - he was prepared for a full and happy life. But it is not to be so, for a few reasons. One of them is that Dolohov murdered Remus Lupin. But Dolohov would not have done it if J. K. Rowling did not want him to. So, in my line of reasoning, J. K. Rowling murdered Remus Lupin. He was murdered in the Battle of Hogwarts, on May 2nd. A little after, his wife was killed also. His son had become an orphan. Rest in peace, Remus John Lupin. Favorite character of many, including myself. Faithful friend of the Marauders. Werewolf, yes, but the kindest and most humble one in the world. Father of Teddy John Lupin, husband of Nymphadora Lupin née Tonks. The best Defense of the Dark Arts teacher Harry had ever had. One of the finest people that ever lived. Let's have a moment of silence, please, for Remus John Lupin.
