Hey Phoenix, it’s so nice to meet you! You can call me Abby, so you don’t have to awkwardly call me AGJ4. It’s a weird username, I know. I was being a bit stupid when I made it, and for some reason I thought it was going to be my password. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a bad week, but it sounds like both of us are going to be having a great spring break! I’ve been really looking forward to this spring break, because my whole family is going to Florida. Not only is it fun, but I get to get out of the horrible weather here. I’ve never heard of the Penumbra Podcast, but that’s not surprising because I don’t listen to podcasts. I tend to prefer reading, since I read really fast, and when I listen to audiobooks or podcasts I always feel like it takes too long. I’m just impatient, I guess. Anyways, it sounds cool, I’d totally read it if it was a book. I was struggling with the weekly too, but mostly just because I procrastinate all the time. Most things for me usually fall into the category of “I’ll do it later.” The weekly was the same way, but I didn’t leave myself near enough time, so the third and fourth sections were both really rushed, which is sad, because I think I could have done a much better job with more time. The presentation you were talking about sounds like a really cool idea, and there’s so many things you could do with plants that you could probably think of a project. I think it’s really cool that you like plants, I think they’re amazing. We have a really big garden at my house, so I get to work with plants a lot. Pesticides are sometimes a problem, though, even though we live in the middle of nowhere and have no neighbors. The farmer that owns the cornfield next to us will spray pesticides sometimes, and if the wind is wrong they’ll kill the garden. I do love books, and I’ve read a couple of the books you mentioned. I’ve obviously read all of Rick Riordan’s stuff, since he’s amazing and they’re everywhere, and I’ve also read Six of Crows. I’ll have to look at some of the other books you mentioned, since I’m always looking for a new series to try. I’m really into fantasy books right now, and a couple of my favorites are the keeper of the lost cities series and the tiger’s curse series. Umm… I should probably talk about something else now instead of just answering what you said in your letter, so I will go on a rant about my cats. Right now, I have three cats, Precious, Dusk, and Storm. They’re feral cats, so they live outdoors, but that just means they can stare in my windows when they want food. It’s really creepy, especially when Precious does it, because she’s a black cat, so at night I’ll just see eyes in my window. Storm and Dusk are both really nice, but Precious is a bully. In fact, for the past week, Storm has only come out of her little cathouse when I’m around to coax her out. Precious will fight her when I'm not around. I’m especially worried for spring break, when I won’t be around. But she’ll probably be fine. Do you have any pets? I know you’re in college, but I’m not sure if that means you live in a dorm, or whether or not you can have pets. I’ll end the letter here, before it gets too long. Bye! -Abby
