Overview of Sinister Mark, also known as Sinister Invincible or Cannibal Mark, is a depraved and sadistic alternate-reality variant of Mark Grayson who serves as a major antagonist in the Invincible comic series and animated adaptation. Visually distinguished by his black and yellow costume, full-fingered gloves, and a long yellow cape, he hails from a dimension where nearly everyone is inherently more malevolent than their mainstream counterparts. This version of Mark fully embraced the Viltrum Empire's doctrine, going so far as to murder his own mother, Debbie Grayson, and his father, Omni-Man, to secure his power. His most infamous act occurred after being stranded in a wasteland dimension by Angstrom Levy; to survive, he manipulated the other trapped Mark variants into killing and cannibalizing one another until he was the primary survivor. When he eventually encountered the mainstream Invincible, he was completely deranged, seeing his prime-universe self not as an ally, but as a "fresh kill" to be consumed.
