Well, whaddya know? Another AI Cover! (I still suck at doing intros through voice recording, so I'm going to type this all out instead) And yes, I understand that Weights.gg is going to shut down at the end of March but that doesn't stop me from experimenting with the digital sound experience now that I have FakeYou as my other "only" option. They do say "all things must come to an end", and I know the AI covers were a trend back in 2023 I believe, but the reason why Weights is doing this (and this is NO April Fools joke) is because the whole AI thing is still evolving in the world and the people who run the site don’t have the money to keep it going. Replay is unaffected with the shutdown, which is a relief, but the thing is that I would have to download all of my voice models (including some of my favorites) that I want to keep from Weights before the end of the month. Unfortunately, the last time I tried Replay to create a new voice model, it did not work well because I don’t have NIVIDA GPU on both Lenovo and HP (formerly Grandma’s) computers which results in error messages, plus it lags a lot. I’ve also been trying HuggingFace’s Ultimate RVC, but the song cover generation takes so ridiculously long to process. Another problem is that FakeYou’s Voice-to-Voice feature is still in the slow process of fixing, but I’m not entirely sure if it will be officially fixed. Judging from that one social online platform that I cannot put in because Scratch will detect it, it’s bugged at the moment, and the staff is trying their best to fix it. From my experience, FakeYou is one of the only websites that showcase free voice conversion from reference audio. However, not all voices are there as many voice actors who voiced the characters from shows, films, and video games are blacklisted. Ultimately, due to a lot of trial AND error at the same time, this will have to mark the only AI cover to entirely feature voice models from Weights (Not including the solo ones I did in the past like Shadow Milk Cookie). And by “entirely” I mean without using the FakeYou voice models. And if you’re wondering, I still have my Gem Bubblebeam Voice Model to make more AI Covers, but I’ll have to find an alternative to Weights to do that. The AI Cover series may be on a longer hiatus, but I'll come back to it once I find something "unlimited". For now, enjoy this first AI cover of 2026 while you can. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Characters: -Elphaba (Wicked) -Wednesday Addams/Jenny Ortega (Poppy Playtime) -Poppy (Poppy Playtime; credited to fanfierik69/FanFierik on Weights and HuggingFace) -Luigi (Super Mario Bros.) -Kanata Konoe (Love Live!) -Plankton (Spongebob Squarepants) -Sammy Starfish (Oswald) -Miss Piggy (The Muppets) -Werewolf Cookie (Cookie Run Kingdom) -Yoisaki Kanade (Project Sekai Colorful Stage) -Barnaby (Billie Bust Up) -Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland)
