Book recommendations! Written out here!: Some recommended books for you!!! Four days of you and me: A cute high school romance themed around the idea that “sometimes hate can turn into love”. Overall, a good story walking through all the highs and lows of younger relationships, even tying in friendships and how things will and do get better! <3 Note: Sexual content, I personally say good for readers 13+ Front desk: A good, quick reader for lower levels or just a good sit-down. First part of a series (I haven’t read the rest). a middle-grade novel about 10-year-old Mia Tang, who manages the front desk of a motel where her immigrant parents work, all while secretly helping other immigrants and dreaming of becoming a writer. (It’s also based on the author's real life!!) Harry Potter: Takes forever, but is a real page turner, especially after book 3! A perfect series to read long-term or on the side of another book. I’d say 8+ because it's clean but includes ideas of death, so ask for permission before reading! (And it's a pretty clean writing style) Wonder: An iconic series with a movie too! (Read the book first, trust me, there is a clearer plot shown and sweet moments.) The main character, August (Augie) Polman, has Treacher Collins syndrome (mandibulofacial dysostosis), a rare genetic condition causing severe craniofacial differences. As a result, he has underdeveloped cheekbones, a small jaw/chin, hearing loss, and has undergone 27 surgeries to help him breathe, see, and eat. Other than that, he’s the sweetest 5th grader ever! Friendship troubles and bullying get to him, but he’s strong and pulls through with a great ending year! The book also has various POV’s of the other people a part of his story and truly shows how all of us connect. Note: This book has made me laugh and cry, an emotional rollercoaster you go along with Augie. The end!!
