List of all known species! There are so many I assure you, I'll just slowly be bringing them out! O = you can sign up with this as a character! T = your character can mutate into these through roleplay or events! You can roll to become one on the rolling project. P = you can't have these guys as characters, but they can be kept as pets! I = inanimate object / plant / plant-like X = npc species, only admins can roleplay them! This is due to them being needed to drop lore inrp. . Human Humans! Yeah, they have mutations, and most have mechanical features they got implanted.. but they're still human! Right..? O . AI Basically just a heavily humanoid robot. Heavily humanoid. Most don't even know that they aren't human until later in life- some handle this.. better than others. O . 'Angels' Large, sticky masses of some tar-like fluid they can control, and a skull, usually an animal's for their heads- truly grotesque beings. One may almost even feel bad for them. Their origin is completely unknown. They are friendly towards people- as long as that person is alone. There's a reason why there are no said encounters from groups of people. They will not approach an AI. In their name, the quotes are needed. 'angels', not angels. X . Snakes Snakes- they're basically just actual snakes, yet massive. They can eat entire cows- and they are incredibly high maintenance- but they are also incredibly docile. P . Cows What happened to these poor things?! They're all 15 feet tall at a minimum, have 8 elongated legs, and constantly drool- or, better yet, who decided it was a good idea to keep eating these things?! P . Sheep Sheep are pretty normal, if you ignore their wool. It's basically steel wool at this point- yet it is incredibly more strong, as a positive.. at least... Also probably don't stick your arm down their throat! Butchers have noted that they have teeth all the way down to their gut. P . Leviathan Usually found in the blood ocean of District 3, these are large, snake-like, glowing things that have a tendency to feed on anything that they can sense. They're noted to be able to detect heat through the water, yet cannot see due to their entire face being a huge mouth, which leads to them attacking their own species rather commonly. It's not rare for residents to attempt to hunt them, yet a successful hunt has not occurred. Rumors say that they are fallen gods, sent to punish humanity for their wrongdoings before they can be returned to the heavens. [Note: Although you can't roleplay /as/ one, it's perfectly okay to go hunting for them!] X . Flesh-tree These /are/ technically living beings- they simply evolved to resemble a tree. Their bark is actually hardened skin, their branches limbs- which they had lost next to all movement in. Their organs are stored underground, near the surface, making it painful for the flesh-tree if you were to walk close to one. It's trunk has a massive mouth running up it, which houses a large, long tongue, which will grab and pull in anything that is close enough. It's natural prey is a tree-gnome. I . Tree-gnome Grotesque little things- they're rather humanoid, living in trees. Their arms are incredibly long, and their feet are short and clawed, making it rather easy for them to grab and consume anything that goes beneath their branch- including humans. Their natural predator is a flesh-tree, as when a tree gets too crowded, the youngest ones are sent out to find a new tree. People occasionally keep them as pets- but it's rare and incredibly expensive, as it needs a massive terrarium, with the closest you can get to a tree inside. P . Vitriol Large flying creatures that can only be seen at night. It's appearance is much like a skeleton, with a thin, cloud-like membrane barely holding it together. It's known to take children who don't go inside at night, as well as any flesh left outside- this is because it is desperately trying to piece itself together with the scraps it can find. People can turn into one through getting attacked by one, or repeatedly being convinced that they do not belong. T Cont. in notes and credits
. Metamorphose Metamorphi, or sometimes mockingly called “butterflies” by those who know of the cocoons they come from, are tragic mimics born from nightshade poisoning and overwhelming envy. When a person is on the brink of death from the poisons found outside the districts, their body may undergo a transformation rather than perishing. This process is fueled by a deep, obsessive desire to be someone else, causing the person's original features to break down and be replaced by a viscous, black (or occasionally vibrantly colored) sticky tar. This tar acts as flesh of some sort, often embedded with plant-like structures resembling petals or roots that layer over the body. These beings are in constant agony, as the tar is simply the physical manifestation of the poison keeping them alive. They can mimic the appearance and voice of others, but the imitation is never perfect, something always feels off to the observer, and their physical form often lacks specific human details like hair, nails, or even entire limbs. Created by @-CaramelArr0w T . Cynofals A Cynofals is a human who, when exposed to moonlight, experiences rapid bone, skin, and hair growth until they resemble a bony, nightmarish, wolf-like /thing/ with an insatiable need for blood. To become a Cynofals, people would first need a pure, continuous rage, surrounding how the district keeps people. That would give them an urge to go out at night, every night, staring up at where the moon would be, until the transformation finally happens. T . Venus "Fly"traps As the name suggests, simply a Venus flytrap. Yet, these have adapted to thrive on only raw meat instead of water and small bugs. Their teeth have turned to…literal fangs. Along with sensory hairs inside of their traps, there are now extra teeth to chew down meat provided. They allow the chewed food to slowly digest, a single strip being enough to sustain them for around 2-3 weeks. Their sizes can range from the size of your palm to about four feet tall. Watching them eat is..a gruesome sight, most of the time. Created by @Aurora_Animations I
