Well I wasn't going to tell anyone. Because I didn't think anything of it at first... It was a normal morning. I went into the kitchen half asleep, planning to make toast like the responsible teenager I wasn't. When I entered the kitchen Star was there, pretending to read a book. You know, normal behavior. But then things started getting...strange... First off, the toaster was missing. Not moved. Not unplugged, just gone. The outlet was empty, and the crumb tray that usually falls out when you bump into the counter was nowhere to be seen. I tried to look for it in the cabinets but it was nowhere to be found. I asked: "Hey Star, where's the toaster?" Star froze for a moment. A very brief moment before asking, "What toaster?" I turned my back for a second. Just one second to see if any of the other kids had it. But when I looked back, there they were, two perfectly golden brown pieces of toast on a plate. Right between me and Star. "S-Star? Where'd the toast come from?" I asked. Star looked at the toast before looking at me. "You looked hungry" she said with a calm smile. But before I could say anything, she gathered her things and said "Anyway, I should go. Bye children!" I watched her disappearing figure until it left the house. I have been afraid to ask questions ever since. But I can say with slight certainty, (assuming I'm not going insane) Star is at least 80% a toaster.
