Ok - another bit of fun - I've added multiplayer to see how it copes... Might remove it... let's see :) Here's a bit of fun - Maybe I will turn it into a game - but for now just enjoy flying your ship around the planet and in space. This project was all about simulating orbital gravity with planet and atmospherical rotation including a rotating body of air (rotation air resistance) - As you hover around the planet you will notice the stars are moving (as you are now being dragged along in the planets atmosphere). Fly away from the planet and you'll see the planet rotate instead! Use the cursor keys, or mouse to control the ship... Be warned, momentum is constant once out of the planet atmosphere so you WILL NOT SLOW DOWN. You will very quickly get far away from the planet and the zooming of sprites is not very useful at that range. The camera will rotate to place the planet below you when you are in orbit. Also, you can make a speed trigger, a laughng site, ecstra boosters, and a lot of scins, like the v2, till the SLS. Also, make a orbit mecanic and platforms/electric energy of the sun and astronauts to eva, take *Rescherts* and then go to the laungs site to uppgrade with the knowlige.
