This is inspired from some of my previous skincare and makeup projects so check those out soon! enjoy!! lets begin... #1] Gentle Cleansing Wash your face twice a day (morning and night) with a gentle cleanser. I use bath and body works cleansers as well as Arencia cleansers. (Avoid harsh soaps or scrubs that strip natural oils.) For oily or acne-prone skin, foaming or salicylic acid cleansers can help unclog pores. For dry or sensitive skin, use cream-based or hydrating cleansers. #2] Exfoliating Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, which smooths the skin and improves radiance. Chemical exfoliants (AHAs like glycolic/lactic acid, BHAs like salicylic acid) are generally gentler than physical scrubs. Start with 1–2 times per week, gradually increasing if tolerated. Avoid over-exfoliating; it can cause irritation and breakouts. Try emulsifying (using oil cleansers and water to get a smoother texture that easily glides off of your skin) ] Moisture Hydration keeps skin smooth and prevents excessive oil production. Choose a moisturizer suited to your skin type: Oily skin: lightweight, oil-free, non-comedogenic. Dry skin: thicker creams, possibly with ceramides or hyaluronic acid. Sensitive skin: fragrance-free, soothing ingredients like aloe or oat extract. ] SPF Daily SPF 30+ sunscreen prevents dark spots, premature aging, and uneven texture. Reapply every 2 hours if outdoors. Sunscreen is key for all skin types, even oily or acne-prone skin. ] Life Style Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated from within. Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and omega-3s. Get 7–9 hours of sleep; skin repairs itself during sleep. Manage stress, which can trigger breakouts or irritation. Wash your pillowcases and use silk pillowcases to protect your hair (especially my curly hair girls!) it also helps to keep germs from absorbing into your skin.
