The Johnstown Chiefs were a member of the ECHL who played in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The Chiefs were the last original member of the ECHL before going defunct and moving to Greenville, SC in 2010 to become the Swamp Rabbits. The team was founded in 1987 and played for 22 years in the Cambria County War Memorial in Johnstown, PA (Now 1st Summit Arena at CCWM). The horn sat and still sits (Tomahawks) on top of the top left corner of the press box.
