I've always been a fan of wc and rp in general, and this spinoff of the series piqued my interest, so here I am applying! :) iii. kit Crownkit (possibly another kit from this litter, idk yet, this app is for crown tho :P) iv. Cisgender Male: Crownkit is a kit who presents as fiercely, almost aggressively masculine — but it’s a preformance he’s been putting on since kithood. As he matures into a warrior, his gender expression becomes a core part of his identity struggle. He presents as hyper-masculine: keeping himself well groomed and often showing off his flames, speaking with a deep, commanding voice. He believes a future leader (CrownStar, as he still insists) must project strength, which he tries to display the only way he really knows how. As he grows, this creates interesting tension where he tries to overcompensate for the “pretty” elements of his appearance, namely, the heart shaped markings that dot his legs and tail. Bi: Crownkit will develop a bisexual attraction leaning heavily towards toms. He will lean hard into preformative flirting with she-cats during his late apprenticeship/warriorhood, but will soon realize he spends more time around toms, eventually finding himself liking a few beyond friendship. His type is broad, but he’s drawn to cats who project confidence and intelligent in ways he isn’t. Simply put, someone who won’t let him get away with his nonsense. v. personality (+) Loyal, Ambitious, Courageous, Hardworking, Charismatic. (=) Dramatic, Prideful, Easy to Read. (-) Cruel, Vindictive, Arrogant, Envious, Destructive Loyal - Despite his bluster, Crownkit is extremely loyal to his Clan and to the few cats within his circle. This will only deepen as he ages into a warrior. He would die for his Clan and his family. Ambitious - Crownkit wants to be the best, and he works for it. He has relentless work ethic when something matters to him. He trains constantly, and always pushes himself to greater heights, constantly aspiring for something more. He just needs to learn being “the best” means more than being the strongest. Courageous - Crownkit does not hesitate. Fear is not an emotion he allows himself to process. He will stand his ground against opponents, no matter how the odds are stacked. He will not hesitate to charge into danger for something, or someone he cares about. Hardworking - Crownkit’s work ethic is relentless. His athleticism didn’t come from nowhere. He practices obsessively. He doesn’t believe in natural talent. He will drill until his paws bleed. He has incredible stamina for failure, and will pursue his goals till his last breath. Charismatic - Crownkit has a magnetic presence. His confidence draws others into his presence. He is loud and vibrant. There’s something compelling about a cat who so unapologetically takes up space. He’s the kind of tom others either fear or desperately want approval from. He speaks loudly, moves with flourish, and reacts vividly at the slightest provocation. He needs to be watched, acknowledged, validated. He’s never boring to be around, but can often be exhausting for long periods of time. The world is his stage. Everyone else is just living in it. Prideful - Crownkit’s compass is his pride. It drives him to constant improvement but also prevents him from apologizing, admitting weakness or asking for help. He would rather fail alone than succeed with assistance. This makes him unyielding and independent, but also stubborn and incapable of showing vulnerability. Easy to Read - For all his posturing, Crownkit is terrible at hiding his true feelings. His emotions flicker across his face instantly, his ears betray his moods, and his flames are a loud indicator of his emotional state. Anyone who pays attention will always know exactly what he’s feeling. This makes him painfully honest, but also vulnerable to manipulation. What you see is what you get. Cruel - Crownkit will often hurt others for sport. He targets those who he perceives as weaker, mocking their insecurities and attempting to destroy their social standing. He doesn’t see others as equals, either beneath him or useful to him. He takes genuine pleasure in their distress.
Vindictive - Cross Crownkit, and he will make you pay. He holds grudges with impressive dedication. A slight, real or perceived, is remembered and repaid in full. He doesn’t forgive and rarely forgets, taking genuine delight in revenge. Arrogant - Crownkit genuinely believes he is superior to almost every cat his age. His pelt, fangs, fire, these are not gifts to be grateful for, but proof of his destined greatness. He is dismissive and often disrespectful, imagining himself in positions he can only dream of, and speaking to those in power with annoying familiarity. This blinds him to his own weaknesses and the strengths of others. Envious - Crownkit is deeply threatened by cats who rival him in talent, especially if they don’t have to work for it. A kit who is naturally faster, who’s flames burn brighter, these cats become enemies. He wants to be the best, and anyone who threatens that narrative becomes an enemy. Destructive - When Crownkit is questioned, his response is in anger. He will wreck creations, ruin games and physically lash out. He cannot tolerate being ignored, disobeyed or bested. This destructiveness extends to himself. His friendships and relationships are often burned at the bridge from his own fury. vi. rp examples JRP(s): vii. Research Congenial Tripod - A quadrupedal animal with one missing limb. This is caused from a birth defect, meaning the individual is born with the condition, and does not lose the limb as a result of injury. This defect can be a result of genetic anomalies or uterine crowding/positioning. Cats with this condition encounter some physical limitations such as jumping distances vertically, landing from high places, stalking prey and walking. However, cats can adapt especially well to this condition. Tripod cats can often run, canter, climb and leap horizontally on par with their four-legged brethren. Crownkit is missing his right hind leg from his femur onwards as a result of positioning in the womb with his siblings. He prefers to move at a sort of galloping pace, since walking, for felines, is a four-beat gait. He dislikes stealth and hunting, as his movement often obstructs him or gives him away. However, he is exceptionally strong in his remaining limbs, which are forced to be strengthened past the norm due to the abnormal weight distribution. Although, this imbalance, paired with his significant bulk, make him predisposed to weak joints and early arthritis as the wear and tear on his limbs is increased dramatically. viii.
