I'm a girl and I remixed this because I agree! Females and males MUST be treated equally! We might look different and think different but we are both humans, aren't we? Girls aren't objects! I've heard a few boys say that they are just going to get 'rid' of their girlfriends, and I was really annoyed at that. Girls aren't just objecting to get rid of. We are people, and we matter a lot, too. Sign this if you agree with me. TW objectification: My school has uniforms but on select days we can wear what we'd like to school. So on one of those days another girl, who's usually very confident and loud was wearing something that was a bit tight on her chest. During lunch, she was lying on the ground talking to a group and one of the boys (who happens to be sexist) decided to stare at her chest. She immediately noticed and she went from loud and confident to quiet and uncomfortable in a second. Thankfully some other girls who were apart of this conversation noticed and stood up for her. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. No one, no matter their gender, should feel objectified. And no one should be victim blamed. - @smilebehappyawesome We are putting on a play at school. My character from the original play is a male, and his costume is shirtless. When the boys in my play group found this out, they started to joke around about how my chest was going to be bear on the performance day. They also made jokes about my stomach later on. It is NOT okay to make jokes like that. But anyways, it still felt terrible. I felt like I should be ashamed of my body. Ashamed that my chest shows more than other girls my age. Ashamed that I dont have a flat stomach. Ashamed of my body. ASHAMED THAT IM A GIRL. Girls have never been treated the same. Its time to change that. Stand up, and make your voices grow loud. Stand up, be apart from the crowd. You cannot let them bring you down. Dont be ashamed like I was, be proud. @sara_the_empath POV: You're nine years old and are playing at the park. You're playing tag with a boy. You're it. "I'll get you!" You jokingly tell the boy. "No, you won't." He says. "Why not?" He's silent. "Because I'm a girl?" you ask. He smirks and nods. "Well you wouldn't be alive without your mom, and she's strong." "I wouldn't be alive without/God/, and he's a boy." A few years later: You're eleven and you aren't allowed to go into school because you're wearing a tank top. It's almost a hundred degrees outside. You're forced to wear a jacket all day and and get overheated constantly. Both of those things happened to me. But I'm twelve now, and ready for a different kind of year. You may think I'm a ditzy blond when you meet me. But I'm not. I'm a feminist. And you should be too. Please comment. Please remix. Some boys in my school feel that girls are dumb as they do not play video games. First off girls are just another gender of the same species, and second? Lot's of girls in my class are gamers with YouTube channels of their own. This is just a stupid tiny example. Much bigger gender discrimination happens in the world. Help stop this. I am against gender discrimination for both girls and boys and my group of friends include both. When I was about somewhere from 7-9, me and one of my older sisters decided to try soccer for the summer, and my team had one other girl and about 4-5 boys. During one of the practices, we were deciding the name, and the other girl suggested, 'The Unicorns'. I didn't like the name, but I let her say it. One of the boys, though, yelled that that was such a stupid name, and why would they ever have such a girly name, and how 'The Race Cars' or 'The Dragons' would be so much better. I honestly liked the name 'The Dragons'(yes, I was going through my dragon lovers phase, yes I still am going through my dragon lover phase), and tried to divert his attention by saying that would be good, but as soon as I said I liked it, he said that he actually hated it, and the coach said that we'd just go with 'The Race Cars'. I still, to this day, remember how sad the other girl looked after he started yelling at her, and the coach just stood back. I lover wear crop tops, tank tops, tube tops, skirts, short skirts, bikinis, and off the shoulder tops, but dress codes and boys make that a little hard. I'm 12. You shouldn't be staring at me. Sometimes I feel like boys need a little eye opener. Some girls too. Something most people don't realize is that way back before Christianity, there was more feminism. In Christianity, Adams first wife, Lilith, was cast down to H3ll for being a feminist. We need more feminists on this planet. There's a reason I am one.
