Deadnite: "IN THIS ISSUE OF Worlds Collide: Villains united, we see our anti-heroes, Cyan Storm and Metal Overlord, floating off of Eggmanland into what looks like an abandoned kingdom." "This seems like a good place to lay low." Cyan Storm tells Metal Overlord. They walk towards the deserted castle, when an arrow nearly strikes Cyan Storm in the head if he hadn't used his telekinesis right in time. "Or not-" They watch as a horde of what looks like the undead are running straight for them. Just as Cyan Storm and the Metal Overlord were about to charge back at them, someone grabs onto their feet, pulling them under the sewers. "Who are you two?" The bunny girl asks, holding up a scythe to their necks. Cyan Storm just uses his telekinesis to toss them back. "First- who are YOU!?" Cyan Storm asks. "I'm Breliya... leader of the rebellion against Zombie King Shadownite. Now who are YOU!?" Breliya demands. "I am Cyan Storm and this is my friend Metal overlord." "REAL names?" "Ugh fine. My name's Silverkit and this is Conner. Happy now?" "Very." Breliya smirked. "I take it you're from one of those other lands and got too curious huh?" "Actually we're from the land above and had difficulties there so we thought this was a nice escape... until now." Cyan Storm explained. Breliya laughed, "Rookie mistake. Had about 10 people try coming over here and they were all eaten. You two are lucky we found you. Now, follow us to the base where it's more safe." Breliya lead Metal Overlord and Cyan Storm along with the rest of the rebel group into their main room underground. When they arrived, there were three vault doors needed to open to pass through. But for them, it only needed to scan their wrist bands and it would open up for them to enter and close right when it detects a zombie entering in case zombies were chasing after them. The vault doors now opened up, allowing for them all to enter. When they were inside, it was filled with weaponry from the top to bottom. "What's this do?" Metal Overlord asked, pointing to the biggest weapon they had. "If that thing doesn't sense anymore human lifeforms around the whole world, it detonates and destroys everything. But hopefully that never happens and we find the cure before then." Breliya told Metal Overlord. Metal Overlord stepped back from it, scanning at everything else. "So what now?" Cyan Storm asks. "We're about to send out a group to find some food... and you two seem like you could help them out a lot with taking down the zombies." Breliya answered. Cyan Storm nodded, and a few minutes later him and Metal Overlord were sent out to search for any food. Deadnite: "What are you doin down here?" Deadnite: "Gubernatorial"
As the group left the base with Cyan Storm and Metal Overlord as the leaders, they entered into a shack near what used to be Prime Kingdom. "There's food everywhere!" One of the rebels yelled. "How have we not discovered this place before?" Another one of them asked. While everyone was gathering all the food into their bags, Metal Overlord felt suspicious about this. "There's a little too much food..." "Metal you think too much, plus once we get all this food, we'll skidaddle out of here and into a safer world." Cyan Storm assured metal Overlord. "Well let's hurry the-" Sudden groans echoed from outside the shack. "It's a trap..." Metal Overlord exclaimed. Everyone huddled close together with their weapons out. Everyone tried looking brave, but they shivered in fear that this might be the end for them. And all of a sudden, a zombie wearing a crown and cape came flying down through the roof, grabbing Cyan Storm by the neck and creating dust all around. Now all the zombies burst in through the walls, taking out the rebels one by one. Some rebels fought back, others were caught off guard or too scared and were either eaten or infected. Metal Overlord however, was able to see the zombies using his heat vision and was able to incinerate any zombies coming his way. When he found the zombie who was holding Cyan Storm by the neck, he blasted him away right before he could take a bite. Cyan Storm fell to the ground, covering his throat with his right hand and throwing his mask off with the other. "Th-thanks..." Cyan Storm told metal. "Now let's get out of here!" Metal Overlord shouted. "Where are you going..." The voice came from the zombie who almost took out Cyan Storm. "Dinner has just begun!" The zombie jumped onto Metal overlord, ripping off one of his metal arms. but before he could rip through his core, Cyan Storm used his telekinesis to throw him off from Metal Overlord. "Stay away!" Cyan Storm yelled out with fear in his voice. "I always did hate you.... Silverkit." As the dust cleared, it became clear who this zombie was: Shadownite, the Zombie King. Zombie Shadownite now charged at Cyan Storm, landing a blow to his face and sending him through the shed. Before Cyan Storm hit the ground, Zombie Shadownite teleported behind him and grabbed him by the back, slamming him into the ground. "You will probably be my least tasteful meal, but a delight to FINALLY end you... or at least a version of you..." Zombie Shadownite began to feast, with Cyan Storm screaming in pain. But before he could finish, Metal Overlord flew in and blasted Zombie Shadownite away. When Metal overlord looked down at Cyan Storm, he saw he was too late and his friend was dead... "S-s-Silverkit..." Metal Overlord said silently. When he looked back up, the last thing he saw was the Zombie Shadownite charging towards him before scratching at his head...
