She would seem shy at first. A little socially awkward around people that don’t know her well. She prefers to do activities solitarily or with people who know her best. Even though she doesn’t see herself as very ‘likeable’ when she considers you a true friend, you know she’ll hang on to you for life. Always asking you to play or hang out over and over again. She tells you about the things she’s learned and plays whatever game you want to keep the fun going. Ilex wants 1 or 2 real best buddies. She considers no one else an actual ‘friend’. This may seem like a good thing. Selectivity, right? But others are usually aware that she doesn’t really want to be around them. Her peers will often feel upset that their ‘friendship status’ with Ilex isn’t reciprocated. She ends up with many acquaintances and few friends. Though she isn’t the best at team sports, she excels at learning things and will frequently discover a new hobby that is “definitely going to last this time!”. This results in her acquiring a wide span of ‘jack-of-all-trades-type’ knowledge from how to get wood to make fun noises to what different leaves are called and which tree they came from.
