Back in July, I wrote a poetry collection (lesser-known epics) that focused a lot on mythology, and for this, I wanted to expand slightly on the concepts I looked at in "pages thrown to the hearth" and a couple other poems. To me, the lack of stories about Hestia is really interesting, considering her major role in mythology, and since I wanted to write about a fear of being forgotten (among other things, there's a lot I was thinking about as I was writing this), I thought she was the perfect example. I did take creative liberties where I saw fit. ~ Word count: 493 words ~ Notes: I'm abnormally proud of the ending few lines for this one, for some reason. Other than that...it's okay, I guess. I'm trying to not hate everything I write. It's really hard. The thumbnail and other graphic design is really lazy. Guys, I'm very busy now. *sob* ~ Credits: • Thumbnail photo by Toa Heftiba on Unsplash • Thanks to one of my friends for giving me a bit of critique on this one!
