hi im working on like a few different projects at once one of them are clan traits because yayy clan traits are cool but uhm its obviously not ready yet i have a lot to do so instead i drew some like uhmmmm doodles of the concepts so that they're out there and then i can make the actual polished project. later. --- first and foremost it is not allowed at all to discriminate against other cats / clans inrp because of or involving these traits i do not want to see that at all thanks -- secondly they are not a requirement in the slightest,, tbh most cats would have maybe 1-3 of the traits from their clan. its rare for a clanborn cat to have NONE of their clan traits but its also uncommon for a clanborn cat to have ALL of them. theyre just for fun because differentiation between groups and lifestyles and all of that is a cool concept with worldbuilding to make it feel alive and diverse -- but the clans are close enough where the diversification wouldnt be strict or anything,, of course there is a lot of variation from cat to cat. these are all TYPICAL traits, NOT required traits -- thirdly the art is bad as i said theyre just rough concepts and also youll probably have to full screen -- mossclan - [ territory desc: forest with dense thorny brambles ] build: >> short height-wise >> small ears >> short-medium fur >> triangle noses color: >> orange is a common color (so lots of torties / calicos and obvies orange cats) >> rosette spots OR large blotchy stripes are common patterns >> common eyes colors include hazel and amber accessories/scars: >> mossclan is the only clan thus far that truly relies on stealth, so their accessories are often things from their environment - leaves, branches, thorns - anything that makes them stand out while hunting is a liability. >> danger-wise their biggest source of injury is their own environment, with most scars just being tiny cuts on cheeks and legs from thorns. however foxes and badgers can also be a frequent concern, leading to larger scars around the head and side especially. -- flurryclan -- [ territory desc: flower field with running rivers and streams ] build: >> medium height-wise >> long ears >> ear tufts >> long flowy fur >> heart-shaped noses color: >> while flurryclan cats have a large array of pelt colors, they also often have high amounts of white on their pelt. >> often no striping patterns, rather just a single color or large spots. >> the most common eye colors are blue and brown accessories/scars: >> flurryclan cats take accessories very very seriously, as its a large part of clan culture. they act a little bit like crows, often being most inclined to wear the shiniest and most intricate of accessories -- especially being drawn to shiny gems, feathers, flowers, and twoleg trinkets >> danger-wise flurryclan cats often face the least day-to-day danger. their hunting strategies involve patience over skill and their territory offers full advantage when it comes to spotting predators before they get too close. thus, scars are simply more rare on flurryclan cats in general.. however the most frequent danger would be due to birds-- leading to deep thin gashes along the back for survivors. >> flurryclan cats are also known for their piercings and fur dying. -- urchinclan -- [ territory desc: rocky ocean shore ] build: >> large height-wise >> round and/or curled ears >> short fur >> round noses they have two distinctly different subgroups of cats, due to the oceans being too rough and powerful for some cats, and seabirds / digging tidal animals are too fast for others so there's a distinct split of powerful divers and lithe runners that split into two different hunting strategies -- this leads to two distinct builds as well, which are then trained in different ways to realize their abilities to their full capacity of course many cats fall in some variance between these two extremes buildwise, but are still taught to follow one hunting method or the other based on what suits them best personally. (this is poorly drawn i am going to push the two subgroups farther in the polished version i was simply. rushing.) both builds are immensely deadly in different ways. color: >> diluted coats are common (grays, blues, creams) >> thin mackerel striping, ticked markings also common (striping only on the legs and tails) >> the most common eye colors are green and yellow accessories/scars: >> accessory-wise urchinclan cats are quick to sport their unique ocean accessories, such as shells, sea plants, and seabird feathers. >> as for dangers, of course urchinclan's biggest danger is one another. this leads to scars most commonly being large gashes and smaller claw marks around the most at risk parts of the body, being the face, neck, chest, and belly. ears and tails are also frequently torn.
still a wip let me know your thoughts and all that thanks byeee
